DnJ, You have been so wonderful to many of us, including myself as we of some challenging times in our lives. The perfect stranger who is always willing to help. Oddly, you don’t feel like a stranger at all.
I just stumbled across your thread. I’m so sorry to hear about your cousin from earlier this year. I am hopeful that you find peace and comfort in good memories that you’ve shared. Hugs to you.
And then, the cherry on top, is your ex-wife‘s behavior and continued turmoil. While writing in my thread, you have shared a bit about your experience through the midlife crisis and my mind is boggled. It’s been so long and her actions don’t seem to improve. You are an unbelievably strong and measured person. There is no way you can be a stranger based on the appreciation I have for you and what you’ve been through. She really is something else. Your attitude is impressive and so is the way you have supported your (adult) children. You have provided a strong foundation to get them through their emotions and unfortunate reality. May God continue to bless you. Hugs
