good grief!! I'll tell ya what it says. it says "I can't win with you women". sheesh! there was no "tone of voice", because I didn't actually SAY anything. They were typewritten words. go read 'em again...don't read INTO them. Sometimes, a cigar is just a cigar. this is one of those times.
