WTG, GGB!

She just needs to let this percolate for a bit. That your response wasn't expected but that she wasn't surprised by it is good too. I had a similar reaction when I read H's posts. I agree that there's lots of hope for your M. Keep up the good work!

GGB,

Happy anniversary, man, and CONGRATS for strapping 'em on and bringing up the issue (or at least jumping at the opportunity to do so). That is more than I have done, and at least you two are talking about it. I too have been there with the "Hmmm, she's in a good mood, don't want to mess it up" and "Hmmm, she's in a lousy mood, now is NOT a good time" rationalization. It's hard to break the inertia, but you did it!

This is exactly the stinkin' thinkin' that I go through. It's all about staying comfortable. I'm not particularly comfortable today, but I feel better about myself.

GGB,

I am in nearly the same boat as you but opposite spouses. ;\) We 'celebrated' 20 years last December.

What I really wanted to say is that your ID nearly made me bust a gut laughing. \:D

Hope things are going better for you guys.
