I understand your logic for HD and that does make sense. But I have doubts that even this simple, targeted plan will go anywhere with MrsHD because it makes her too vulnerable.
While I'm at it, let me just say that I think it might be helpful if you could lay out a little more of your background thoughts. Thinking back when you tried to give me advice, you gave a few short, direct, specific recommendations, that made little sense to me. I was to either accept it on faith, or not accept it at all. In the heat of battle, there is no faith. Everything is questionable, even this board.
That is why I go to some length to explain my rationale. I may miss something in the posters sitch, so an explanation can still make the comments useful. Also, understanding why the recommendation is made can create confidence in the person taking that action. Just doing what you say on blind faith was a little more than I was willing to swallow. Thirdly, understanding the thought process is a valuable learning tool.
