(also shamelessly stolen and used without attrib.)

Our Father, who art in Lawrence,
Hallowed be thy Game.
Thy bracket come.
Thy upset will be done, In Syracuse as it is in Allen Field House.
Give us this day our deserved game.
And forgive us our turnovers,
As we forgive Roy who double-crossed against us.
And lead us not into defeat,
But deliver us from East Coast bias,
For Kansas is the basketball kingdom,
And the tradition,
And the glory,
For ever and ever.
Amen.

Also, don't forget women are not always logical. One would think leaving your W would create nothing but more problems (which it can)but I would bet BIG MONEY that Mrs.HD (in the end) would respect HD way more than she does now. She walks all over him and he takes it. He needs to take a stand and be courageous. And it does take courage to leave a M. Seems illogical but it worked on me. I can honestly say we are closer and happier today than in any days past. So....

I hope that you will have the courtesy to tell your boy friend what you have done and at least dump him before you take up with the new guy.

How would you like it if the positions were reversed?

Not all men LFL. I don't connect that strongly with games.

Maybe the game is HD's relief from reality.

Neither does my H and I thank my lucky stars.
But he does have his "reality escapes" - music and stuff, so I guess it's always something.

My kids get bored with watching basketball during the tournaments. Given the fact that this is basically the only time of year during which I watch any kind of sport, I think they can tough it out. I'm giving myself permission to step off of my "Father of the Year" throne for the month of March.

Also, it's kind of weird/strange, but when the Jayhawks beat Kentucky last weekend, and my W said, "I'm happy for you that your team won," it was one of the nicest things she's said in a while. She really doesn't like them, (she's an Illini alumn, and thinks Coach Self is worthless) so I felt like she was really saying, "I'm happy that something good happened to you today."

What can I say? She likes me! She really likes me!

Hey LFL, It's not just men! The Buckeyes game does not start until 10:00 tonight and I have a 7:00 a.m. flight. Guess I'll be drinking a lot of coffee in the a.m.!

It was a very close game in Ohio against the Vols in December so I am worried about this one too!

FWIW, I love COLLEGE basketball and especially the tourney. Two years ago when I was separated and staying with my friends, we went out to her parents house to watch some of the games and play cards. We had to turn down the TV because her mom did not like the sound of the basketball dribbling and the shoes squeaking! Are you kidding me? That IS the sound of b-ball and that's music to my ears!!!

And just when I started to like you.
Just kidding!
Although I'll repeat:
