Yesterday, my W called me at work to say that she was frustrated because I had paid her cellphone bill. She said, "I wanted to cut a check to pay for it". When I asked where she would get the money to write the check (since she doesn't work) she replied, "Well, er uh...from our joint checking account" (the only account we have to pay bills from...which I used)
