Hi friends, I am a new auntie again. I have been over at the hospital today. Things are just fine. I'm so grateful to have a new niece and am elated for my brother, who, girls, is just about the best guy around. Seriously, my SIL is one lucky lady. So I'm thrilled for them (their first baby). No test results. Gosh I have to think at this point if it was bad, wouldn't they have called me right away? I did leave another message. And I have another interview at the end of the week for the job I truly want to get. Please keep praying for me.
I wanted to share this with you all. At the hospital, I texted H. I told him "we" have a new niece. I barely hit "send" and he called me immediately. When I answered, I wish you could have heard his voice...it was not the alien. He was all upbeat, "Hello!" and it truly sounded like H. I have not heard him that happy in...I don't remember. So of course he wanted to know everything (he and my brother were very close before all of this). We were on the phone for about 15 min. and he was very excited about the baby. He told me that he would call my brother later, and to tell him, my SIL and my mom hello & congrats from him. And, God help me, I slipped up, and said, "Ok, hon." Because it felt like I was talking to my H again. He didn't say anything about it, and we just said our goodbyes and that was it.
It just came out. I didn't even mean to say it.
Most of us really marry only once. First love endures, even unto our dying day. And we never really divorce.
You know, I think the bond we have with auntie and uncles is so important. Mine are like my second parents. They can discipline me and cry for me, and be happy for me, and they have through my life.
Nothing can replace that. There is never a moment you feel alone when you have family that will always be there for you and thinks of you and will give anything for you.
I am glad to read that you are doing well. I do not have much time on line and when I do, I don't have time to figure out the whole new format. I mostly try to read a bit and get caught up.
It has been so long since I posted to you, I thought that I would. Just to let you know, we still seem to parrallel.
I have a clean bill of health. Test was negative. Still have to have surgery but can safely put off a bit. Thank you so much for your prayers. They really pulled me through.

Everything happens for a reason, maybe Dad needs to find that it isn't better out there, he needs to realize how good he had it here. Maybe he will find God and that is the most important thing when he finds Him he will know he is supposed to come home.
