According to the book "You On A Diet" which I highly recommend, people tend to eat "Bulky, fill you up food, like crackers and pasta" when they are "Lonely or sexually frustrated.". They tend to eat sugar when they are depressed.
Jenny, some of that seems to be true for me. I have to tell myself that my logical, checkbook balancing mind tells me there is going to be an audit. Eat the stuff I crave and the impending audit will show who has been dipping his hand in to the company cookie and candy jar.
Sometimes I think I can compensate by drinking a diet soda but I hear diet sodas are another thing that maintain a persons craving level and might increase it. Maybe I just better crack the whip on myself and do the "whole grain' stale bread and water the only, thing to save me from myself.
