But these internet guys aren't people you have a relationship with. Of course, if a R ends you want an exit interview of some kind. But I'm talking about a dating site where you see someone's profile, send an email (sent through the site) or a "wink" (which is an IM sent through the site) and they look at your profile and decide they're not interested. There has been NO mutual contact at this point. I would rather not get an email from these guys than get one that (in effect) says, "I got your email and looked at your profile and yuck!"
BTW all contact happens THROUGH the dating site. No one ever has your real email address until you give it to them.
