cinder, actually the ones that give me hope are ppl like you that does not give up. People that hold on to hope. That does not ride the same road as today's wisdom (haha -- todays wisdom is throwaway marriage). I get a lot of strength reading how the posters do not give up. They may vent but they keep fighting.
And they realize along the way how important and how loved they are. Not getting their value from the WAS but from knowing how important they really are. I hear it when you talk about your children. Your children know that you are strong and that you are important and they love you tremendously. They stick up for you because they know that their WAP (walk away parent) is weak and doing the wrong thing.
Don't misunderstand me. I browse the board to hear stories of those that did not give up and were rewarded for their efforts by getting their spouse back. But WOW! Reading the stories of those that the spouse has not come back (yet) and they went on with their lives. Very impressive.
