Sounds like you had a pretty good Xmas. Diamond earrings? That is wonderful! I think that was a wonderful gesture from him.

Like you said, last year you didn't even thing you would be a family. Don't worry about H having to leave. He'll be home to you later, and that's what you can focus on.
