Meanwhile, you are indeed piecing; piecing your own life together from the ashes of the old one. You've worked on yourself and tried to be comfortable in your own skin. What does he have to offer you? Except maybe more of the same the next time he feels depressed. Does he want you or just a convenient life preserver when he's drowning? I'd be hesitant also.
