An older version of "1812 Overature" by Tchaikovsky conducted by Ormandy of the Philadelphia Orchestra with the Mormon Choir is one of my favorites. Length 16:59 Good time to ML after some initial foreplay. I know, that isn't why the music was written but it works for me.

Starts out slow and people centered. Builds to some struggle then cools, rises, and cools till it rises in a major battle, then the climax with the cannons and cathedral bells ringing.

R's and some sexual encounters start slow, people connecting, the march continues, advances are made, retreats happen, sometimes people wonder if anything good is going to happen, people get serious and the journey to the big event gets underway. The song right before the cannon fires and the bells ring is full of feeling like a pre orgasmic phase, then the big guns go off, the big bells ring and there is joy in the land, everyone is happy.

It helps to read the story behind the 1812 overture. It is about Russia's history and struggle to be victorious.

Versions with kettle drums instead of cannons are only fair in my opinion. The versions with 10” naval guns and really big cathedral bells are the best.

About getting nasty? You will have to describe nasty.

I was thinking tender, connected, somewhat apprehensive, what is going to happen, the big buils-up the high flying feeling as emotions rise, the thrilling event, the joy of the event ant the rushes that go along with the event, then the joy and happiness that follows.

BTW, good list. I have and listen to most of the music you listed. I didn't listen to much of it untill I had a music class in college and learned the history behind most of the songs. The "Gates of Kiev" was really interesting to explore the history and related art work of the people involved in the works of the Pictures at an Exhibition by Mussorgsky .
