I don’t mean to nit pick, but on some things it is important to nit pick. I think your letter is VERY good. When putting in the apology, do not make it conditional. Don’t say, I’m sorry, but if you hadn’t ____, or I’m sorry, what I was really trying to say was ___. Just say “I’m sorry” and nothing else. I am listening to your letter as I think your H might hear it, not as you mean to say it, KWIM?
