The difference between being prideful and having self respect, is a blurry shifting one. And the main thing for me now is making sure that d17 is getting the love and "correct" lessons from what I'm dealing with. If it ends up she thinks I'm being a doormat, that will just suck big time. It will defeat a huge part of the reason I am doing this at all. How can we really know? Once, d17 told the lady she babysat for, that she "admired" how I was working so hard to save the M, and those words were a Godsend. But who knows now? That was some time ago. I feel as if I am shouldering 90% of this M and cannot do it much longer. Yi yi yi! j-
