I was just re-reading this particular post. The conversation with yout MIL struck a chord with me. It is almost the same one I had with my MIL.
She also refused to ever say a word to my H. She said that her Mijo deserved to be happy. I asked her what will happen if my H divorces me and brings OW over, will you welcome her into your home? She said, of course I would, how dare you even think I would ever turn my back on my mijo.
Blood will always be thicker then water.
Right now she is pitching a fit because precioso Mijo is in love with his Jewish espousa and MIL thought she might actually have a chance of having a nice chicana DIL.
There can be no testimony without a test. I am praying to go through this test and come out the other end with a new and better marriage then before.
