Sorry, I think my post was misconstrued - he meant that women don't buy men stuff for Valentine's Day, its only men that are supposed to buy women things (I have always got things for H - don't know, perhaps no one else ever did that for him)
I've bought H flowers on occasion too - I don't think there should be any gender barrior when it comes to showing your affection, appreciation etc. etc.
