Hmmm... that gives me an idea.
Yeah, great minds think alike.

I like this approach.

Now, I guess we just sit around and wait for Cobra and Blackfoot to tell us why it's wrong. \:\)

By the way, I saw this quote today and, although I'm not big with the standard "signature" option on boards like this, if I were, I would make it mine:
Quote:
When you get into a tight place and everything goes against you, till it seems as though you could not hold on a minute longer, never give up then, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn.
Harriet Beecher Stowe

Abraham Lincoln

I immediately thought of this quote when thinking about your upcoming lively discussion with MrsHD.

Great minds think alike
We think about a lot of things:

Food, sex, cars, sex, sports, sex, politics, sex, does Rogaine really work?, sex, does Levitra really work?, sex, oh my god! what a pair she's got, sex, morning wood, sex, world hunger (just kidding!), sex, beer, sex, let's see what's in the fridge, sex.

See? We're not THAT simple!

Hairdog. I dare you to say the above to your W at the nedt time you two are in MC together or when she says something like "You keep bring up the same subject."

But wait...won't that cause a warp core breach? Where is Scott1701 when you need him?

Only if the quark flow containment capacitor is overloaded by the resuluting muon neutrino pulse.

I'd better stop, I'm starting to put together a list of Star Trek characters and who would best "play" them from members of this board.

To which Britney Spears might reply Thinking someone was talking about global warming,

OMG, TOTALLY nasty. What's gonna happen to my fav beach, guys? And what's with all this yucky war stuff? That's like, just SOOO lame, ya know? Why can't we all just party.

BTW, none of this stuff is my own. I thought I would pass it on \:\) for a few laughs.

The chocolate cake thing was a reference to last year's Valentine's Day.

HD, I remembered that "dark chocolate" cake incident all year. \:\(

BB was watching a "mad man show/men are bad" on TV last night. I used to try to convince BB maybe a few men are badies. No more. I said good, "I want to see how he kills his W.

As the show progressed, BB kept going on about how som men abuse their W, I added "And they get away with it. Some even murder 2 or 3 wives before they find the right woman." All in jest of course.

HD, playing the game with your W, by her rules or me playing the game by BB's imaginary rules is horse pucky, doesn't work. The more you try to convince someone you are correct using their logic, the more you validate that their way of thinking is correct.

I am getting to the point where I consider BB's POV but also put more weight on the word consider than the concept that I have to somehow honor her POV over my POV.

This probally doesn't help much so I will mostly read for a while.

My computer screws for a few days and I come back to the SSM forum with more to read than I can in a day or two.

I had to partition and install Windows on the harddrive over 15 times before everything sort of works. So much for getting a computer (3 years ago) with a propiteary version of Windos XP and matching XP up with a chip (the chip had some XP instructions in it) on the mother board.

Here, but slow.

Alas a warp core breach is usually due to a loss of coolant or having plot issues where showing lots of steam, sparks and flashing lights will get things moving.

Of course, I can look up some examples and find the actual dialogue as I own both the DVD's and scripts(on CD-Rom for Next Gen).
