I love both those things... but the threshold for the little fires should be set much higher as most of the posts on this board get hundreds of views and over a hundred replies.
This raises the question "which is more 4-ish"-- resisting change or loving change for the sake of change?
Whaddya know? H did make good on his suggestion of some nookie last night. He made his usual ambivalent sort of approach but then he did some things that he hasn't done in a while - he opened his eyes, looked at me and talked to me during foreplay. Made a direct comment about my body. We had very good, very connected nookie. Well, what can I say? I wish H were more agressive and more esperimental and all but if I just got what I got last night a few nights a week I could be pretty darn content. I don't even want to try to make predictions.
H and I are discussing "to snip or not to snip" baby Joseph who is now due in just about 11 short weeks (give or take). DS15 was snipped but the official position of the medical community is that it is clearly an elective procedure. There are mild risks with circumcision (infection and such) and there are mild associations with STD's, adhesions, cancer and UTI's with uncirc'ed fellas. However, all of these "risks" are low in both categories and basically cancel one another out. I am very 50/50 on this. I think ex-H and I chose to circ DS15 so that he and dear old Dad would match. I have never been with an uncircumcized man so I've never dealt with it up close and personal. Cosmetically I prefer the look of the circumcized male member but then again that is what I am basically "used to". My thought at this point is to let H have the final say so.
Anyone have any thoughts, opinions, horror stories to share on this clearly "off topic" issue?
