O'K...maybe I can think a little clearer now. The kids & I got home from school and D13's cleats are lying on the patio....they were beside it,now on it. Something has dug in some leaves that were between the patio & the fireplace and cleared a spot out. On top of that, when i opened the door to the patio to let my dog out, he smelled & then refused to go out, which he has never done before. It almost makes me feel like there's something lurking around. I know that sounds silly, but I had a snake in my laundry room a little over a month ago...it disappeared before I could get anyone over here to kill it...now this. just makes me feel a little uncomfortable.
Well, h called this morning. Wanted to check on the kids & to let D13 know he was going to check one other store for the shoes she wants. (He didn't speak to her, just me.) He said he had spoken to her yesterday for a few minutes about them, D13 said she never spoke to him at all yesterday. I guess h has his days mixed up. Anyway, he told me to tell the kids Good Morning & he loved them. I told him I would & wished him a good day; then, i told him bye. I was very nice to him but i didn't try to carry on a conversation w/ him either. I made it a point to let him know i had to drive the bus this morning & that we were getting ready to leave. (I told him that when he asked how the kids were doing.) I was short & sweet, as usual. LOL
I am a little irritated w/ h...i had noticed my patio is soaked as if it has rained; but, i didn't run into any rain when i was out this way w/ the bus...So, i was walking around the house to see if i saw any other signs of rain, i noticed my h has filled up a 5-gallon bucket w/ beer cans & bottles. I guess he finished off that 6-pack Thurs. night, after all. I have no clue when he drank all the other beer because the bucket was empty just a week or so ago. He has already gotten one DUI, what is it going to take for him to stop drinking? that is one reason why i am not so sure i want him back.
Well, i think i have figured out my "mystery" w/ the help of my pastor...someone power-washed my siding today. I was trying to find out if it had rained and why the dog wouldn't go out. When I found out it hadn't rained, i was afraid i had had a pipe to burst; but, my water meter isn't running. my pastor suggested maybe someone had power-washed my siding (it did need it)...i got looking & , sure enough, it' clean!! K said he didn't do it...wonder who did!
Snodderly, Honestly, no I didn't realize that;but, it would have been too confusing! When i first saw Moving Forward, I thought someone had responded to me...it wasn't for me. So, I decided just to start a new one. It's really not that big of a deal.
i just got in from Bible Study. D13 said h called while i was gone. she said it was kinda strange...h seemed really happy & everything until she told him about someone power-washing the house for us. She said after that, he became quiet & sounded sad...she said she thought he might have been crying.??? She just kept saying it was strange...she didn't seem to know what to think. Who does these days, right?
Anyway, gotta drive the bus again in the morning-i usually drive in the afternoons...so far this week I've driven morning & afternoon. the paycheck next month should be good, at least. We've only been back 2 days & i'm ready for another break! LOL
I found out who power-washed my house!!!! It was my neighbor...he owns a truck wash. Wasn't that nice of him? I have been so impressed & amazed at how many people step up to help out when you are down? I love life! God truly has "angels" here on Earth. deb
