The book is peppered with those familiar references to the bible (son shall leave his father, flesh shall be as one, etc) that she uses to punctuate her general theme: "Ladies, wake up! He's going to leave you if you don't start treating him right! And who would blame him?"

She apparently has a new book out called "The Care and Feeding Of Marriage". Maybe it contains that balance you're looking for. I didn't see it at B&N.
