Well, you can backtrack and read my half a million posts, but the main thing I learned when dealing with my H is to be direct, clear, specific, repetitive, and not back down. I had gotten it into my head that I was deserving of the kind of stimulation that turns me on, and had a lot of pent up desire and frustration to motivate me. Ironically, I wanted my H to be more aggressive ( among other things)!
I also feel our MC ( who became his IC) got H to see that he had issues.
