Borders has a section with kid's gifts that involve making something, or building something, or putting something together, that are fun, not too expensive, and not usually duplicated. JMO.

Anyway I hope you have a wonderful Christmas. I am sorry that your h could not be with you but he the main thing is that he wants to be and you will have all the Christmas for the rest of your lives and beyond.
