Suicide is punishment for the survivors. Ask him who he wishes to punish. Is it his children? His Parents? His siblings? His wife? His friends? The poor schmuck that'll find his body? He's experiencing pain that he himself caused. He will have to stand accountable and atone. It hurts and it sucks. It will tell us what kind of man he is and wants to be. He must make this passage without you enabling him.
