So back to the alcohol references . . . I forgot about the tequila. Don't know if you're into that, personally it's not my favorite and I don't think I could handle shots of it (and the worm -- fogeddaboutit!) but a frosty marguerita (spelling??) on a hot hot day is just the thing! (Hmm, I am starting to get a wee bit jealous of this trip of yours!)
Ovaltine -- a bit tamer drink -- it comes in powder form, I get the old-fashioned malted chocolate version -- not everyone goes for malt but I love it (thanks to H for turning me on to that!). It's not like other choc milk powders -- the Ovaltine dissolves perfectly whether the milk's hot or cold.
