In light of XH making contact, I have changed my mind back and I plan to send him a Christmas card and some photos that he has not previously seen. They are mostly of the pets and some of his old boat (which he no longer has).
I do not expect acknowledgement as I have never had that from him yet. I think he would like to have the photos as in the early days his comments about photos were "I'll take what I can get." It wouldn't do any harm, would it?
