Yes, all things considered, it was a positive experience. XH cared, for a fleeting moment anyway, how I am doing and he wasn't nasty or indifferent.
The hard part will be filing it away and not expecting any more crumbs. I think I'm up for the task now, however.
I really did enjoy my musical weekend. I thought of you on both occasions also..."The Pretenders" were the opening band for The Who and they made a reference to Bob Dylan. Chrissie Hynde said that he was a great song writer and one guy that stayed in her life for many years, much to her surprise (versus the others)...being such a sexpot and all. (her joke) This proceeded them playing the song, "Forever Young." The Who cut out a little early because Roger Daltry had bronchitis. He was very apologetic but just couldn't continue.
The local band also made a reference to Bob Dylan and made me think of you again.
