oH G!

Isn't that something, and the way it seems to go too. We learn to accept our life the way it is, we start growing, begin to heal, and WHAM! they do something that causes us to stop in our tracks.

I'm a big one for going with your gut instincts, as I'm trying to learn NOT to second guess myself while learning to trust myself once again. I have also found that when I start second guessing myself, I also begin to over analyze the situation, then I begin this obtuse cycle which throws me off course.

With this said, I believe your first reaction was right:
Quote:

"huh, whaddya know (with some satisfaction)" and then seconds later it was "F you XH!"

Actions speak louder than words... by not calling, you will be sending this message:
Quote:

tell him how I'm doing, like he asked...which is FABULOUS, BTW.

And much too busy to bother to call him..... You'll be saying, I'm loving my new life, and don't have time for the past.

If he is truly interested in how you are doing, he will call back.... If the call was just made out of loneliness or boredom, you will know this too. Sit back, and let him work for your attention.... Remember, we humans are fickled, we always want what we can't have.

Just my two cents... Let us know what you do.

Take care of you, God Bless
