Brue,

I enjoyed Liss's tale of the drunken LBS's! You both gave me a smile yesterday. I'm jealous, as is everyone else, and hope to have the chance to meet you someday.

I hope you're having a great time!

Love you,
Sun

Talk about having a wonderful time!!! WOW - meeting Lissett was the best!

As for my side of the story - well - let's say we had a great time. Much, much laughter. Don't forget - my son and his girlfriend were there - so you can imagine them meeting Lissett too. It was the best day. In fact the time away was terrific.

I highly reccommend it. You know - on Lis's thread everyone was marking their "anniversary" date of the day the spouse left. Hey - that sounds like a soap opera or something "The Day The Spouse Left". Anyway - it'll be a year for me on Feb. 15! How endearing is that? The day after Valentine's Day. Now that's pretty special.

But as I look back over the year.........from my perspective now......I really can't complain. I am learning how to grow and be strong and do things I've never done before. I think that's pretty darn good. I got on a plane twice in one year. That was facing a huge fear I've had for years. Now I'm ready for my NEXT trip.

I also would say - if you have a chance to meet with friends on the board - do it!

And yes - I had more to drink than I usually do for me. What's normal for me? Pretty much nothing. Drinking is not part of what I do - gives me almost instant headaches. For some reason I suffered NOTHING in the head on tuesday but some simple "alterations" so to speak. Tho I have to say - my stomach was a bit upset when we got back to my son's apt. I think the apple pie put me over the edge Liss!!!

fun, fun, fun.

now back to reality - but I can handle it - it's ok to be where I am. It's a good place to be.

That was the funniest of all Liss. Listening about your parents!!! I love them and all that. My son will get a kick out you calling him.
