I get in a real bummer mood every once in awhile too and want to give up. But soon realize that won't be a less painful path.

I agree totally with this statement, that path of bummer mood is much more painful, but it is hard not to get into that when they do something that trows us for a loop.

The only way through it is through it

Seems like everything else in life we have options on directions to take, but you are right saying the only way through this one is the direction we are taking to save our marriages. We have options, but only one path to save it.
