sue, there are plenty of signs that say he has hope of things working out...he is not going to outright tell you so because that would be giving you false hope and he loves you to much to hurt you like that...it takes a long time (well longer than we like) for them to figure things out...just keep doing what you are doing and your h will be home before you know it.
