My dad said the same thing as to the "swapping" reference. That is so nasty.
Anyway, I didn't even acknowledge the comment. Nor will I.
He does want me to try to "convince" the kids to go on vacation with them.
My S12 said no way. It is not my job to convince my kids of anything as far as I am concerned. My S12 saw my XH spit in my face last August so need I say more.
XH has a long way to go before the kids are going to want to spend time alone with him and away from me. I think it would be great if the kids went but no way will I convince them. And, to tell you the truth, I don't think it's such a great idea.
Rat and XH are obviously out of their minds, still, so why would I want them to be alone with my kids on an island somewhere? Freaks me out just thinking about it.
All I know is that my kids are doing great. I want to make sure they have an awesome xmas and receive lots of love. They sure deserve it.
