Nothing surprises me anymore. I have no idea why XH would want to spend a week with me and New Guy. No matter how you slice it, he is absolutely nuts! I thought your opinion was interesting, though. I never thought of it that way.
The post D crap is easier because all the paperwork, etc., is over. I find the X's have a harder time dealing with the finality than we do. I have been alone since the day he left and two years post I am fine. He never thought I would go through with the Big D so it was a major reality check to him I am sure.
He got the prize, though. A nasty snaggletoothed rat with bad breath.
