Just an interesting little tidbit here. W does not have to take me to the banquet. She has a co-worker planning to go as well, so she won't be alone. She could leave me at home to look after the kids but she has made arrangements for the kids already. To my knowledge, I am going because she wants me there. Why, who knows? I will just go and make her proud to present me as her H. That's the best I can do.
