Yay I got the Inspirational award!! I note Swashy is on there too. Jeff I think you shold be to - I know the chance of rebuilding your M is quite low but I really admire the way you haven't descended into bitterness and have used it as a chance to grow.
OK - more updates. H still loving and attentive - it's been 4 weeks now and I'm starting to feel that the whole ILYBINILWY was a bad nightmare but it's over now. One other interesting thing to come up. H and I talked and he said that when I moan about things (work, friends, the usual, not about him at all) he feels he just wants to wave a magic wand and make it all OK and gets frustrated that I am still upset. I told him the magic wand is him listening to me and he doesn't NEED to fix. I then read him some of teh Mars Venus book and guess what..he IS reading it!!!!!! He is so relieved to know that when I moan about work, parents, friends etc all he needs to do is listen. To be honest, I did the 5LL quiz but I think just being listened to is SO important to me. OK - and up update, I feel a little bad putting one in to say still going OK but I want to have this to look back on.

Ha! Halfway through this sentence, I immediately thought "He needs to read Mars/Venus!" Good call Jen! And it's AWESOME that he's reading it!

I have just read snippets of your post and quite honestly, I don't have the energy right now to try and read through all of it and disect. But, I need a little hope right now. Merry Christmas, Jen! Hope all is well with you. H and I have weathered a storm wherein I spilled the pain of the past 6 months...MC said it was my equivalent of the letter he wrote me in July, said I was entitled.
We've had a fabulous few days on vacation so far...
