Snakebite is a nutters drink! You have it if you want to get REALLLY drunk! You can make it a Purple Nasty too - one half cider, one half lager, a shot of blackcurrent then top it up with a barley wine (about 10% proof). Urgh urgh urgh I'm too old for all that now!! LOL

JJ Thanks for your post. This reconnecting and piecing stuff is hard work but at least we are working through something now and there is progress. Moving to this new phase is exciting and yet scarey. The letting go and moving forwards, the trusting and rebuilding.
There can be no testimony without a test. I am praying to go through this test and come out the other end with a new and better marriage then before.
Hurrah! H said something SOOOOOOOOOO lovely last night! We had gone to bed and were lying there drifting off to sleep. He said ILY!!! He also said he likes to say it before I go to sleep cos he wants it to be the last thing I hear at night so I hear something good and will have good dreams!!! How sweet is that??!!??? Of course I said ILY back, it would be mean of me not to.
So he heard me when I said I was worried he didn't say ILY unprompted. I'll have to practice saying it myself a lot too.

Hey Jeff - anyone who calls me young is a star in my eyes! I won't be returning to the old me - OK at times I will probably think like I used to but I'm getting FAR better at changing my reactions. As I read somewhere, just because a negative thought pops into you head it doesn't mean you have to pay any attention to it.
