I long knew I had "tension" and that depending how frustrated(take that as fed-up or horney/unsatisfied with life) I was, my shoulder pain and lower back as well as something in the kidney area reacted porly.
Recently I started to get indigestion too.
Well If the principles of mind/emotions tension CAUSING pain in the body and constricting muscles depriving them of small amounts of oxygen are valid, then possibly the unconscious(who knows, maybe conscious) blockage of an errection is also possible. Men have long been able to "talk to themselves" to delay orgasm. Maybe they can talk themselves into impotence. Wanna research that?

PS: At a recent C appointment, C said H was repulsed by me. Hmmm, that was a bit strong, but H's actions did suggest that. So-if H's adversion is THAT strong, anything is possible.
