Hey thanks for your post! You are so positive and encourging!!! Mediation has been cancelled now! My lawyer was not going to be there b/c he had a court hearing that came up and he was going to send one of his paralegal's that was also a mediator and then he called me up and said he was cancelling the whole thing b/c he went through my husband's files and decided he really needed to be there to help me get the best settlement. Which I'm glad he realized that. THis is from an attorney in my state who is the top 25 in the state and has represented mike Tyson. He has never lost a case they say. My H kept his finance's from me and I had no idea how much money he made or how many accounts he had in the bank from investments. He didn't want me to know. My attorney asked for a "discovery" and my H had to give him a box full of personal finacial information dating back form 7 years ago. He was furious! Oh well! So right now I have no idea when the next date is going to be. Man..this is dragging out!!! I know this is driving my H crazy b/c he's ready to move on. But that's not my problem. He created this problem. I just think to myself....we could have been in marriage counseling all this time that we're waiting on a Divorce. That's how immature he is about working things out. NOw he's got to shell out money instead of working on his marriage! Thanks ya'll for thinking about me tomorrow. I'll let you know when the next mediation in scheduled.
