SRT you have had the courage to draw the line where you felt it had to be drawn, you suffer no lack of strength! Your attitude is wonderful, I think you are viewing this properly e.g. staying friendly with W for son. I would urge you not to give up yet though! Now that she is going out on her own she will be living the "fantasy" and at some point may realize the grass ain't greener in fact it dies without nurturing!. You can pick up the pieces and YES she has a hell of a lot to do to earn your trust back and I know you will make sure she knows it!!
