I'm so sorry, but I laughed myself silly over this one. I'll never understand why family and friends want to fix us up w/someone. I've always liked the saying "you two will get along like a house on fire". These blind dates usually don't work out. Some do, but the majority leave you asking yourself what where you thinking when you said yes you'll try it.

Chalk this one up for the funnies and don't be too upset over it. When you think about it, you really do have to laugh about it. Thank goodness you weren't out of a lot of money for the meal.

Trust yourself when setting up dates. Leave the family and friends on the curb. Thank them for being kind and considerate, but then toss out those little hints of blind dates.

BTW, remind me to tell you the story about one of my blind dates and the man I labeled "gramps". I still laugh about that one and it's almost as good as your blind date.
