It's actually pretty simple - you steer the car of your life and let NO ONE grab the wheel from you...esp your woman....women have a biological need to "test" men to see if they'll stay true to themselves or wuss out and compromise themselves (Hi!)....strong men will be there for THEM when they need us the most - wusses will flake and leave 'em high and dry....
Oh - and next time she busts you on the cell phone bit - look her right in the eyes very seriously and say something like..."Babe......(pause).......I know something about you.......(pause).........this is why you find me so ridiculously HOT" and then pull her hair and laugh and wander away on your own path again. Guess who'll be following right behind......
