NOT smart. You can always take the high road and should err on the side that is simply RIGHT. If he calls in a month and asks can he come by to see the kids, you should say yes. NOT that he can take them anywhere but that he can visit them in their home. You can go in your room if that is what it takes to keep your lip zipped.
NOW, if he is not doing a damn thing about child support....and DCSE hasn't "found" him yet...you could say he has to bring you $.
But I caution you against refusing to let him see the kids unless he is a REAL physical threat to them. It just does not look good in court.
