GH, I too have a TERRIBLE, paralyzing fear of rejection, in any and all sitch. As you know last weekend, although my heart was pounding so fast in fear, I attempted to be intimate with my H. As you also know, I was rejected. I felt the hurt and sadness and then chose to let it go and proceed with my day. This was really big for me.
