Things have been holding steady here... H is still planning to win me over. I am still protecting myself. I have been quite sick for two weeks (I just get better and bang! another round of the flu.) Despite the weakened state, trying to be strong It's the first time I've been hearing he'll "do anything to win me back" and he'll prove it. My skepticism doesn't seem to scare him off.
He is apparently willing to leave ow for good, knowing I may still not take him back. He's doing it next week (in person), but when he says this, I do not want it to sink in... I am NOT going through another 6 months of "will he or won't he end it with her" agony.
I see that when I take a little step towards him right now I feel really nervous and then back off, seems I finally get the "pursuer" and "distancer" thing. (I guess three times will do that to you).
