I'm interested in hearing what others have to say about the relationship between money and DBing. My BIL gave me the advice to "cut W totally off" because in his opinion it would set W free (and myself free at the same time). W is not willing to give anything to relationship but willing to take money..... Anyway, I can understand your reluctance to help while wondering how it will affect your DB efforts.
by the way, I am taking care of S4 while W has been gone for 6 months now......
