PL, all I will say is that I think you are right that you cannot continue on the present path forever. You cannot keep up the status quo indefinitely without evidence of change. At some point, you may need to do a big 180. I can tell you that the last 10 weeks have been much more tolerable for me because I knew that I was starting a new career and moving to a new apartment at the end of July, with the likelihood of a sitch change as a result (not to mention the possiblity of OM leaving to join the Army, which does appear to be happening). My future plans have enabled me to DB patiently for the time being. I'm now planning to take D4 on a week-long Spanish immersion trip for Thanksgiving. That trip won't happen if W and I reconcile before then, but I'm not planning my life around her. You may need to do a little long-term planning for something without your H.
