I did not realize the thread was locked until I wanted to post this morning.
XW stopped by last evening after my walk to leave me two pieces of mail. We talked just a little but nothing was said about the weekend. The dog so wanted to go home with her (traitor) but she said she could not ride in her car.
This morning she called and we talked for about 1/2 hour. Talked about D19's schooling, her loosing interest (it seems) in her goal of being a vet. She is very into a business with her BF. She mentioned she took furniture down to her this past weekend, got it really cheap cause it is damaged, and they damaged the wall getting it in her townhome. She mentioned that I could repair it when I come down to visit. She asked when I was going down there. I then told her that D19 has not ever said anything to me even about getting a townhome, that her BF told me this weekend that he and his sister have one two doors down also.
So she told me about it, how she has scraped to get a few things for her, how the frig and dishwasher need leveling.
Then she went on to talk of her work, how she has no time, kids will be coming up to work with me this weekend and she might not have time to spend with them. She asked me if her BF came up to be with me only because she was going down to deliver furniture. I did not think so but probably he does not want to be around the other person. He asked if he could pray with me and earnestly prayed for reconciliation/restoration of our marriage. It was very touching to hear this young man praying for me and my ex.
I am saddened by how my friend Faith was treated over the past week and especially the weekend and for the extra grief that has been placed on my friend Blyndfaith. I lift you both in prayer daily and await the time the tears I shed are for joy and praise to our Heavenly Father for reconciling their relationships.
I too appreciate the prayers of the faithful on this board and for the caring that is shown.
