.... of the Millenium

Last night my W put her wedding ring on for the first time in 9 months!

We have been back together now about three months. Last night was my company's Christmas dinner and my W spent a lot of time dressing up as we were getting ready to leave she asked if I was wearing my ring tonight. My ring has been in my wallet since the summer and I have been waiting for this moment. What a milestone.

Patience can be so rewarding.

To all my friends have peace and be happy.

Chris

ChrisJ,

Have a wonderful vacation with your W. What terriffic news about your wedding rings. You must have felt ecstatic!!!!!!!!!!! (I'm still waiting for that moment..."Patience & Time"). I now sing those two words to the song from Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer...."Silver & Gold", (oh, and to myself, of course!)

May you continue with positive progress with your W into the new Millenium.

You ARE being rewarded...

Chelsea

Chris what wonderful news. Isn't it nice that DBing teaches us to let our spouses make the first move. It is so good for these decisions to come from them and not because we pushed. You know her feelings are genuine because it was she that brought up the subject of the rings. I am so happy for you and your wife. Your future now looks so bright I'll have to put on sun glasses. Have a wonderful vacation and enjoy every minute of it. You have worked hard and deserve the best vacation ever.

Chris-

If there was one word that could say CONGRATULATIONS!!!! more than the word "CONGRATULATIONS", I would be saying that word right now. I feel the most incredible, heart-felt happiness for you. YOU DID IT!!!!!

When your wife put on her ring…………………….WOW!!! I remember when my wife did the same thing in just about the same manner as your wife. That ring will have a hundred times more meaning now than it ever did before.

Never stop thinking and acting in a solution-focused manner. I wish you the very best during your Holidays.

David

Last minute check on the board for me and I found this thread! Yes! This is such great news Chris. What a great time of year for this to happen too. Actually, anytime is a great time to reconcile. But I want you to know that I am really happy for you. Keep focusing on solutions and enjoy!

Chris,

Fantastic! You give me hope and I need all I can get right now. I lost my ring in june(about 2 months after the "I love you, but... " speech) and I keep hoping that one day my W will buy me another one. Maybe for Christmas?? I wont get my hopes up.

Its great to see that this DBing can really work! I'm going to do a search to revisit some of your threads.

Happy holidays and best of luck to both of you!

Dave
