Dropped off son yesterday. In this stage of the game I have settled back and am observing from a distance. My heart is saying forget the entire sitch although my mind is servicing others to express gods will. The guidance of gods will must take first chair to my heart and my mind in order for me to build on my foundation of his will.
Why as a Christian do you want to throw in the towel and give up on your one-flesh spouse? Do you think second, or third marriage are any stronger? They are not! We will all go through trials and tribulations, but we must remember the vow and covenant we made on our wedding day and that vow just about covers every area of problem in a marriage. Divorce is not an option, but prayer is!
"To the married I give this command (not I, but the Lord): A wife must not separate from her husband. But if she does, she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife." I Corinthians 7:10-11
"A man of knowledge uses words with restraint, and a man of understanding is even-tempered. Even a fool is thought wise if he keeps silent, and discerning if he holds his tongue." Proverbs 17:27-28
