Nicky, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. The thing is, you never know what is around the corner and what door will open for you. My mom had 2 miscarriages in between my brother and me. She ended up having me at age 45...and this kept her young! She is close to 90 now. You never know how your life story will unfold. But that's little consolation now...just know you are loved and be good to yourself.

Hi everybody,

Thank you so much for your warm wishes. It is really nice to know that I have friends thinking of me. My closest friends, IRL, have never been thru a miscarriage and really don't know how to act around me, so they have been avoiding me. It's sad, but I understand their discomfort with the situation. I probablly would have acted the same way before I went thru it myself.

H's co-workers (a small tight-knit group that we have both become friends with) bought us a beautiful rose bush for the yard to remember our baby. It is such a thoughtful gift and I am so happy to have something as a memorial.

Hi Chrissy,

Thank you for your warm reply, I really appreciate it.

Those are great words, I will try and remember them. I am glad you are doing okay and keeping busy. Has H accepted the fact that you are leaving?

Nicky

He still has not excepted it.
Yes I am busy these days working every day and still not working 40 hours? Seems odd but 4 hours a day does not add up. But it is making me get up in the morning and on a schedule.

Hope you are feeling okay

DN,

Miscarriage is an awful thing, there is no way of getting around it. Although I cannot completely empathize with you as I am a man, I have had a taste of that bitter brew and it sucks big time. Don't fight your grief over it, let it pass through you. Move on when you are ready. My heart goes out to you and sends you best wishes for happier times.

Thanks Chrome, I appreciate your sentiment.

That's great advice. It's been really hard to explain to my friends, who don't understand what it is like, that all I really need them to do is be my friend and listen.
